Here to listen. Trained to guide. Committed to helping you heal, grow, and thrive one conversation at a time.
Emmanuella Owobu LCPC I grew up in a culture that wasn’t accommodating to mental health challenges. People suffered in secret, died in secret, especially with mental health-related struggles. Children are exposed at very tender ages to alcohol, tobacco, illicit drugs, and cigarettes. Even as a child, I imagined there were better ways. This triggered my interest in working in the mental health field. With extensive experience in multicultural sensitive therapeutic skills.
I am committed to supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups in developing the right coping skills to better handle challenging life, behavioral, and mental health issues. My main goals are Supporting Emotional Well-being: Helping clients manage and understand their emotions, whether it’s anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship struggles, by fostering healthy coping strategies and emotional resilience. As a therapist, my communication style is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I strive to create an open and safe space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace.
